Anuncian la liberación de 16 presos políticos

Esta mañana, durante la conferencia de prensa matutina del presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador, la Secretaria de Gobernación, Olga Sánchez Cordero, dio a conocer que se han analizado 368 casos para la liberación de presos políticos, y durante lo que va de la administración, ya se han puesto en libertad a 16 de estos, debido a que muchos de los detenidos no contaron con la posibilidad de una defensa adecuada.

La secretaria señaló que no se puede permitir que la protesta social sea criminalizada, por lo que van a revisar uno a uno los casos, además añadió que existen presos por oponerse a la Reforma Educativa y personas que se encontraban en campos de amapola, además de jóvenes con posesión de drogas. Finalmente el presidente dijo que quiere que la Cuarta Transformación sea sinónimo de justicia.
