Aprueban la eliminación del fuero al Presidente

El día de hoy, se aprobó con 469 votos a favor, en la Cámara de Diputados, la iniciativa a la reforma constitucional que avala eliminar el fuero a servidores, así como al Presidente de México, aunque mantendrá la inmunidad procesal, la propuesta será enviada al Senado, para que sea aprobada o rechazada, se contar con la mayoría de los votos a favor, el Presidente podrá ser separado del cargo, en caso de existir una sentencia condenatoria en su contra, siempre y cuando sea avalada por un Juez o por la Suprema Corte de Justicia de la Nación (SCJN).

Uno de los aspectos que se mantendrá, será la inmunidad procesal, es decir, el Presidente y altos funcionarios podrán llevar su proceso en libertad y continuar sus funciones hasta que se obtenga una sentencia de condena por parte del Poder Judicial; el dictamen presentó 3 votos en contra, por los diputados del PT, Gerardo Fernández Noroña y Emilio Manzanilla y del diputado Julio Ángeles Mendoza del partido Morena; además 5 diputados de Encuentro Social y 1 de Morena se abstuvieron de emitir su voto.
