Asesinan a candidata del PVEM en Michoacán

Morelia, Michoacán. El pasado miércoles 11 de abril fue asesinada Maribel Barajas Cortés, candidata del partido Verde Ecologista de México (PVEM) al Congreso occidental del Estado de Michoacán. Barajas Cortés de 25 años de edad había sido presentada el lunes de esta semana como candidata del PVEM a diputada en el congreso local por el municipio de Múgica. Las autoridades señal

De acuerdo con la Fiscalía de la entidad, el cuerpo de la mujer fue encontrado en un vehículo de su propiedad en la cima del cerro del Quinceo, en la zona poniente de la capital. Asimismo, se dice que fue identificada a través de las credenciales halladas en el automóvil; por lo que, las autoridades informaron que se abrieron varias líneas de investigación sobre el caso, debido a que la zona que representaría es tierra de la lucha entre narcotraficantes.

Ante esta situación, el Instituto Electoral de Michoacán (IEM) dijo que los consejeros se han reunido para fijar un pronunciamiento, debido a que el gobierno estatal no ha emitido declaración alguna. Por su parte, Ernesto Núñez Aguilar, líder estatal del instituto político exigió a las autoridades realizar una investigación para identificar a los responsables del delito.
