Condenan con tan solo 9 años de prisión a Javier Duarte

El día de ayer durante la diligencia en contra de Javier Duarte, exgobernador de Veracruz, se declaró culpable por haber cometido los delitos de asociación delictuosa y autor material de lavado de dinero; razón por la cual el Juez Federal, Marco Antonio Fuerte Tapia, impuso 9 años de prisión en el Reclusorio Norte, así como el pago de 58 mil 890.060 pesos de multa, además de decomisarle 22 parcelas, seis inmuebles en la CDMX, un terreno en el Edoméx, tres departamentos en Veracruz, cuatro en Guerrero y seis terrenos en Quintana Roo.

Ante ello, Felipe Muñoz Vázquez, quien funge como titular de la Subprocuraduría Especializada en Investigación de Delitos Federales (SEIDF), aseguró que la investigación en contra del exgobernador de Veracruz continuará, ya que la Procuraduría General de la República no se encuentran satisfechos con la sentencia imputada, por lo que aún cuentan con elementos para poder incrementar la condena de Javier Duarte.
