Esta tarde durante una conferencia de prensa el recién llegado a la dirigencia nacional del PRI Rene Juárez Cisneros, anunció que como parte de los cambios que el partido exige, renunciará a la dirigencia.

Durante su mensaje Cisneros expresó: “El pasado primero de julio el pueblo de México votó y decidió alejarnos de manera contundente el respaldo en las urnas. Esta derrota sumada a las dos de los años 2000 y 2015 nos obliga a preguntarnos ¿Cuál es el futuro de nuestro partido? La respuesta está en la militancia a ellos es a quienes les toca hablar”. Dijo además, que se encargará por completo a su labor como diputado federal.

A la dirigencia del Partido Revolucionario Institucional llegará una cara conocida. Se trata de Claudia Ruíz Massieu, quien se venía desempeñando como secretaria general.
