Jesús Zambrano, el ex líder nacional del PRD, se quedó sin su senaduría de la República, cuando la noche de el pasado miércoles la Sala Superior del Tribunal Electoral del Poder Judicial de la Federación, confirmó que el puesto que buscaba en la Cámara Alta es para Israel Zamora, el suplente de Juan Zepeda.

Fue por medio de una votación en la que por unanimidad, los siete magistrados del Tribunal Electoral desestimaron la impugnación que fue presentada el pasado viernes por Zambrano, por medio de la cual buscaba alcanzar un escañó en el Poder Judicial de la Federación.

Por su parte, Israel Zamora dijo que siempre tuvo confianza en que el Tribunal resolvería a su favor y dijo que con esta elección se sienta un precedente en los derechos electorales de nuestro país.
