Solicitud de Manuel Velasco es rechazada

Después de que el senador Manuel Velasco Coello, solicitara licencia por tiempo indefinido para separarse de su cargo como legislador y regresar al gobierno de Chiapas, por mayoría de votos se le negó dicha solicitud, además de provocar un debate entre los legisladores; la senadora Xóchitl Gálvez de la bancada del PAN informó que se abstendrían de votar.

Gálvez agregó, que si bien, el exgobernador se encuentra en su derecho de pedir licencia, no comparte la idea de que Manuel Velasco haya modificado las leyes en su entidad para poder regresar al poder; por su parte, la senadora Blanca Piña de la fracción de Morena, dijo que las acciones del chiapaneco representan un nuevo exceso para la ciudadanía ya que se benefician a los grupos políticos y de poder.
