Tomás Yarrington será extraditado a Estados Unidos

Italia. Luego de haber sido detenido por el gobierno italiano, Tomás Yarrington será extraditado a Estados Unidos, a pesar de que nuestro país hizo una solicitud para que regresara a México. De acuerdo con Stefano Opilio, responsable de la oficina de cooperación internacional del Ministerio de Justicia, el ex gobernador de Tamaulipas fue trasladado al país norteamericano.

“El ministro de Justicia (Andrea Orlando) firmó el decreto ayer y lo hemos entregado a los Marshall (cuerpo policiaco de Estados Unidos) esta mañana a las seis y media de la mañana”, añadió el funcionario público.

Cabe mencionar que el ex titular del Ejecutivo en Tamaulipas es acusado de 11 cargos en Estados Unidos, entre los que destacan narcotráfico, lavado de dinero e ilícitos financieros.
